TrakMat applications in the construction industry

TrakMats have many uses in the construction industry both for ground protection and enabling safe access for vehicles and plant.
- Protect existing blockwork, tarmac or grassed areas
- Provide safe roadways and walkways over soft ground
- Provide clean areas for material storage
- Easy to handle, lay and move to new positions
- Reduce costs for remedial work
TrakMats in use to protect the lawned areas and provide a roadway for the mini digger and construction vehicles whilst excavation takes place for the installation of a swimming pool.
A temporary roadway was required for construction traffic to cross a level crossing to access a site. TrakMats were laid over the crossing to keep it clean and protect it from damage from the heavy plant.
Note that TrakMats are not suitable for steel tracked machines.
